Oh the Places We WENT!

Yay for us, we finally ALL went on a wonderful, even though last minute, trip to my sister's in Nashville as a final hoorah before school began again this week! And it was so perfect! We started off for Nashville on Thursday morning, and would you believe, the ZOO is right on the way!! We couldn't not go! And of course, any time at the zoo is amazing! We had a great time, as you can see from these first 2 pictures:....but the trip got even better when the kiddos got to meet their awesome new cousin! This is how we spent every minute INSIDE:
Kaylee, with baby Zackary....great babysitter coming right up!
Logan with his new little buddy....can't wait to teach him lots of good boy tricks!
Cassi, wishes she were the oldest, and first in line to babysit, she is a natural.

Alli, and Kim, I think we actually argued over who's turn it was to hold him, so we compromised. Notice how Zackary is always happily asleep! He is truly a perfect little guy!

Oh! Here he is awake with his amazing mommy, aren't they beautiful? He is 3 weeks old, look at that head control!
Hilary and Andy took us all to Opryland, where there are lots of fun things to do and see. We skipped the Grand Ole Opry, but the mall there takes more than a day to get through! We took in a cool Stingray exhibit, where we all got to PET them! Barant even FED them, and we all got splashed by them. There was a Carousel there also, which was good fun for the kids. One of the funnest places there though was the Rainforest Cafe. How exciting to eat among jungle animals! It was a real treat! Some of the kids said that was their favorite part of the whole trip! One of them said it was the car ride, they did super on it the whole time! Thankfully, the Dramamine kept them from being sick, and didn't really knock them out either!

...and now we're back to the old grind...Tank was glad to have us back, although Grandma Hasek said he was a good dog for her while we were gone. School is in full swing now, day 3 now under our belts. The kids are enjoying it, and I am also! I love this new job! I work with a fabulous teacher, the Special Ed teacher, and we seem to get along perfectly. I LOVE seeing my cute kids in the hall and at lunch and recess! It is really a great feeling knowing I am right there with them! We wish you all the best too!

Going again!

Yay me!! I get to go see little Zackary one more time before school starts! We are all going tomorrow for the weekend and having one last hoorah before Monday when school starts! We will have great fun in Nashville, and just loving the new baby! So, see ya at school! (In case you haven't heard, I'll be there too this year! I got hired to be the new Special Ed. Aid!)

Six Flags Fun

We made it to St. Louis- Six Flags! We had a girls' trip with Grandma Judy, and really had a good time! What a fun day, and nice weather!

This is the slowest ride Cassi went on, the highlight of our day was our turn on the Superman! It is now official, Cassi and Mom are crazy! We loved it! The Superman is one where they pull you straight up to the top of a very tall tower, (way higher than the trees), and then drop you really fast. It was a blast! Cassi's eyes could not get any bigger, sorry no pictures were taken, I thought how dumb that would be if I dropped my camera from up there! I play it safe normally. Just not when it comes to rides! My favorite is the Batman, which I went on all by myself, and loved all 30 seconds of it!
The kids' loved getting soaked on rides and in sprinklers around the park! What a nice day!

Home Again!

Here is Zackary Andrew Larsen, I am lucky enough to be the favorite aunt already, but ya know, why not?!
I am glad to be home again with my sweet family, but I did have a great get-away! I spent 3 days in Michigan with my Hasek sisters, and then 3 days in Nashville with my sister and brand new nephew, Zackary! What a wonderful week! I hated to leave my new little love, Zackary, but I needed my own little loves again! Here are just a few shots of my wonderful week!

My sweet sister, Hilary, with her new heart-throb, (sorry Andy), AND the best baby ever, Zackary! He never cries, and already eats right on schedule, every 3 hours, and even gives Mom a little more sleep through the night, going sometimes 4 hours during the night! He is a gem! I miss him already, and can't wait to introduce him to his awesome cousins!

I seemed to have not saved the best Michigan shot, all of us Hasek girls with Grandma Simons, so I hope, hope, hope that some loving sister in law will email me a good copy of it! We had great fun the days I was there, I am sure they fell to pieces after I left, but who knows, maybe they just continued to enjoy the fabulous beach and breeze and beautiful sunshine! Maybe....
